Privacy Policy

In brief: Lumen Community uses user-provided competitive Pokémon questions to provide coaching, approved-source research, and damage calculations. Do not submit private, identifying, confidential, or sensitive information.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Lumen Community and its read-only VGC research and damage-calculation Actions. It does not cover unrelated websites, Discord servers, or services that are not operated as part of Lumen Community.

2. Information processed

When you use Lumen Community, the information you type may be processed, including research queries, Pokémon names, teams, moves, sets, field conditions, calculation inputs, and feedback. The supporting infrastructure may also process ordinary technical information such as timestamps, request metadata, error information, and network identifiers for security and reliability.

3. How information is used

Information is used only to answer requests, retrieve evidence from approved research sources, perform damage calculations, protect the services from misuse, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability. Lumen Community does not provide source-management, production-planning, publishing, or production-control access.

4. Service providers

• OpenAI provides ChatGPT and the GPT interface that receives and processes conversations.
• Cloudflare hosts the Action endpoints and may process operational, security, and network data.
• The approved research search provider receives research queries needed to search the server-enforced source allowlist.
• The damage calculator processes supplied Pokémon matchup information using its installed calculation engine.

These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Users should review the privacy controls associated with their ChatGPT account.

5. Storage and retention

Lumen Community is not designed to create user profiles or persistent conversation memory in its Research or Calculator services. Limited operational and security logs may be retained by the hosting, AI, and search providers according to their policies and settings. Complete questions and answers are not intentionally collected for advertising.

6. Sharing and sale

Personal information is not sold. Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate the features described above, comply with law, protect users and services, or investigate misuse.

7. User choices and requests

Do not submit information you do not want processed by these services. You may stop using Lumen Community at any time. For questions, correction requests, or deletion requests concerning data controlled by Lumen Community, contact taigastyl3@gmail.com. Include enough non-sensitive detail to identify the relevant request and approximate date. Requests involving data controlled by another provider may need to be directed to that provider.

8. Children and sensitive information

Lumen Community is not intended to collect sensitive personal information. Users should not provide passwords, API keys, payment information, government identifiers, medical information, precise location, or other confidential information. Children should use the service only with appropriate permission and supervision where required.

9. Security

Reasonable technical restrictions are used to limit the community GPT to read-only research and calculations. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated when Lumen Community’s features or providers change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
